Step 4 – Glaze Base
A preparatory coating is applied to the surface, similar to cleaning and smoothing a floor before finishing. This step ensures the glaze will adhere evenly and create a flawless surface.
Step 5 – Color Glazing
The basin is evenly sprayed with high-quality glaze and color coating. This process enhances the appearance, protects the ceramic body, and prepares it for the final firing.
Step 6 – Kiln Firing
Finally, the basin is fired in a kiln at approximately 1280°C. The intense heat strengthens the ceramic, solidifies the glaze, and creates the durable, glossy finish.
Step 1 – Molding the Shape
Natural clay is carefully placed into specially designed molds of different shapes. The clay is pressed and formed inside the mold to create the basic structure and outline of the ceramic basin.
Step 2 – First Trimming
Once removed from the mold, skilled craftsmen refine the raw body by trimming the edges and surfaces, ensuring the basin’s curves become smooth, balanced, and visually harmonious.
Step 3 – Drying & Trimming
After natural drying, the basin undergoes a second detailed trimming process to perfect its proportions. Any remaining dust or loose particles are carefully removed before the next stage.
